Founded in 2008 and based in Colorado, RenErgy, LLC specializes in early-stage siting, development, and permitting for utility-scale energy projects. The firm brings together deep expertise in renewable energy, natural gas generation, environmental permitting, title and land services, and commercial structuring, serving developers and investors with projects nationwide.

RenErgy's team grew up in the oil and gas industry, where understanding the land isn't optional. It's where everything starts. That background in title research, surface and mineral rights, and land-use negotiation gives the firm a practical, ground-level perspective that most energy consultancies simply don't have. Every viable project begins with secure land rights and clean title, and RenErgy builds outward from that foundation through permitting, stakeholder engagement, and commercial execution.

RenErgy's principal is Dave Perkins, a veteran energy executive with more than 40 years of experience spanning renewable development, natural gas generation, and oil and gas exploration. With more than 125 years of combined experience across the U.S. energy sector, RenErgy's team brings a pragmatic, relationship-driven approach to development, built through decades of direct engagement with landowners, utilities, regulators, and development partners. That depth of experience allows the firm to guide projects through complexity with efficiency and credibility.
